MBLSurfer.com is an “auto-surfing” platform with a twist. The original concept came from a young entrepreneur who actually turned out to be more of an opportunist than an entrepreneur. Once he realized that it was going to be a little bit of work for him, he abandoned his role on the project which left it in our hands. Typically this is a project we would roll with for a long time, but given the somewhat sensitive nature of the program, we decided to let it sit.

The site itself is an e107 CMS but the power is not in the site itself – it is in the software. The core software is built on VB6 (I know, a little outdated) using a connector to ping an online user database for authentication. The software automatically surfs through websites (or blogs) while logged in through the MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog services. This posts the surfer’s avatar on the visited page increasing exposure to the surfer’s website (or websites) ultimately leading to more traffic, more sales, more leads, etc.

The core software does not work with Windows Vista or newer. The assumption is the installer, but there may be tweaks that are needed to utilize software with anything newer than XP. There is a separate component (program) that allows the administrator to create “lists” that are loaded into the software so that users do not have to manually compile lists. These lists could be a long term income source for the program once use of the software is increased.
